I joined McGowan Environmental Engineering in August 2021 as Project Manager, to help support the company’s ambitions growth plans in the energy and utility sectors.

Having spent the previous 17 years with Scottish & Southern Energy (SSE), I gained considerable experience in large-scale cabling projects have installed over 200,000 kilometres of 33kV cable for the distribution and transmission networks.

As a Project Manager my role is varied and includes a number of tasks such as the co-ordination of staff, ordering plant equipment / materials, stakeholder engagement (with clients, landowners, contractors and suppliers) and ensuring health, safety, environmental and quality standards are met.

Away from work I like to socialise with friends and family whenever possible. I enjoy walks with my dog and exploring the countryside.
